Christopher Burk is a painter who is known for his ability to represent stillness in landscapes,
transforming often-overlooked environments into moments of contemplation. He has earned
several accolades for his work, including a Visual Arts Fellowship from the Greater Columbus
Arts Council and the Columbus Museum of Art, a Pollock-Krasner Foundation Grant, and
numerous Individual Excellence Awards from the Ohio Arts Council. Burk has also completed
residencies at the Josef & Anni Albers Foundation and the Vermont Studio Center.
